Daiso Japan - Robina Town Centre

I have purchased Daiso’s zip-up mesh laundry bags multiple times to wash clothes, socks and other small items separately. Unfortunately, the zippers often break (sometime after only a few uses), making the bags unusable. I understand these are low-cost items, but repeated replacement gets expensive. The store told me they cannot help unless the product is unused, but it’s impossible to know if a zipper will fail before using it. I hope Daiso reviews the product quality to prevent this recurring issue.

With the current exchange rate, 1 AUD = 95 yen.. how come things are expensive. For 220 yen , it becomes $6.00 This is scandalous and they need to stop making the consumers pay all!!!! This is not about choices, but hurting the cost of living. By importing and buying stuff from Japan, we help their economy and we help our own. However the profit margin for Daiso is just too much and too high!!!it’s X3. This is inappropriate and doesn’t align with the recent economic climate. Someone has been pocketing too much for their own luxurious lifestyle!

To the lovely young lady that worked on the self check outs this afternoon Friday 21st, you absolutely made my day with your compliments on my clothes and your lovely customer service. Customer service like that is very hard to find , so keep that up. You’re awesome!!!!

The only bad thing I San say about this place is that I can't read the labels on all the cool stuff they sell.

Wow, Wow, Wow. Daiso Japan- is unbelievable for endless reasons. Remarkably cheap in price for everything that resides within this Treasure Trove of many goodies. Daiso Japan has the most Beautiful range of hair accessories in every colour. Hair clips, scrunchies for kids school, work etc, your hair will look amazing with any of their very affordable hair products. Beauty Products to assist with skin/ hair maintenance. Stationery- A wonderful choice of writing sets, gift cards, office/ school supplies. Their Kitchen range of utensils, baking equipment and serving dishes, storage containers will keep the eager cook looking for a reachable bargain. Laundry needs, from storage to laundry washing products, pegs etc. Spoil yourself with some comfortable slippers ( for that well deserved getaway). Garden products, things to adorn your proud garden. Their storage range of containers, pretty trays of all sizes will suit many people. Japanese candies, lollies, drinks, perishables also near the self cash register. Daiso Japan has alot more than I mentioned in store. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, professional and very hardworking, so appreciated. This gorgeous store is a rare find and worth visiting today. Situated on the ground floor near Woolworths on the Northern side within Robina Town Centre. Thankyou Daiso Japan, we will return as always. 🙏🤙🌈

I had an item that I wanted to return, they said they don't do returns only exchanges. Basically I stuck there for quite a while looking for items to cover the exchange. "Why didn't you just get store credit?" I asked, they said they won't do that. Why not? I have no idea. Clearly it's far better to have customers lunk around and juggle items to exchange for well over an hour while hungry and needing to use the bathroom. At first I thought that it might be justified by Daiso having razor thin margins, that it could be that they can't cover the cost of returns. Nope. Daiso earns 6-7 billion in a year... Spending a little extra time on returns isn't going to make, even a dent in that. This is just bottomless greed. And the customer has to pay the price for that greed. I shouldnt be worried about whether or not a purchase will work out or not, nor should others. Better to not risk it, Kmart and Big W have better return policies.

Daiso is always just a really cool shop to go to! So many unique knacks and gadgets to find at fantastic prices!
