Chevron Island Park

What a wonderful part, to walk in, take your dog. Whether to walk through and visit the memorial To local residents: Colin and Rona Connor or to Sit on one of the tables and do some work or study. Or if with friends and family to sit down and joy the sunshine, company and beautiful food. If you don’t wish to make the food and bring it with you grab some takeaway from some of the great places here on Chevron Island. There is a bus stop right next to the park. Or alternatively there is plenty of parking close by. Three hours free parking around this area. It has facilities such as toilets, seating, tables. It is right next to the Korman family park which has play equipment and barbecue equipment and a place to plug in any electronics you have. Also a fishing jetty. A beautiful green space so close to the hassle of surfers. Great place for local fish and chips in the park by the waters edge, only minutes from CBD of the 6th biggest city in Oz. Definitely worth the time to smell the roses so to speak.

Great place to go and take the dogs for a run and relax. It's A Dog friendly Park. There's a children's playground and a great place to go fishing by the Chevron river. The public toilet on site are always kept clean. Perfect environment for a BBQ or picnic

We had lunch on the banks of the river. Watching flying fish. Quite exciting

My go to park with the puppies. Lovely space which they've recently fenced off. .great that it's off leash 24/7.. nice to watch the ladies do their South American dancing practice occasionally too

Nice little area for family. Fishing for the dad, while kids play on playground or kick the footy. Relax have a picnic, really nice and quite.

Was nice to take my daughter at night time, we used it as her wind down activity, as it very relaxing music also. But so so pretty
