Picked up some native plants from VINC today and couldn’t be happier! A highlight was the Large-flower Crane’s-bill (Geranium sp. 1), critically endangered in Victoria. VINC provides healthy, rare species and gives super helpful advice on planting, which makes all the difference. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to support biodiversity. I’ll definitely be back!
Best Indigenous Nursery in the business. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. They do incredible work saving many of the Indigenous species of Naarm and the Birrarung that would otherwise be lost. I've been planting their seed-stock at home and specify their plants on Architecture and Landscape projects.
Awesome local indigenous nursery with great service! Can’t wait to buy all my plants here
Lovely, friendly staff and good advice. All Victorian native plants meant we didn't have to filter, and sorted into type (trees / shrubs / flowering / grasses etc). Only thing I wished for were a few more slightly mature pots, as it's mostly seedlings. Didn't lower my rating though!
A good little indigenous plant nursery. Fair range of plants though mostly focused smaller growing species. Grasses, wildflowers, ground covers, climbers and small shrubs. Staff very willing to help and share knowledge to help you enhance the habitat of your garden. Prices more expensive than many other indigenous/community nurseries that I have been to. Parking was a hassle when I visited as the vehicle access gate had not been unlocked by Parks Vic.
Edit: Accidentally left a 1 star rating before. Finger slipped. I didn't think it went through sorry! 😅 Rating fixed - loved the plants
True native vegetation existing in this region before invasion of imported species and environmental impacts from colonialism. Well worth a visit the bush setting is real and beautifully designed.
