House of Brews

Our impromptu visit was amazing! The waitresses are super friendly and accommodating. A massive range of craft beers on show and I highly recommend a tasting platter. Cocktails galore and the food is fantastic! Will be back!

House of Brews is a lovely place to visit. Their drinks are beautifully made, and the beer paddle is a must-try. The food was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If you enjoy sitting by the window watching the street and people passing by, this is a great spot. Otherwise, you can relax in a corner with friends and enjoy your chats.

Such a great atmosphere. Dined in for dinner. Had the lovely Sarah wait on us. She was lovely, with such great customer service. Food was delicious. Definitely a place to come back to.

I don't know what's happened here , I've been visiting house of brews for the past ten years. Always absolutely amazing!! I go there for the cocktails. The cocktail I got today was SHIT!! It's looked and tasted the same for years.. comes on a paddle with dry ice and heaps of egg white foam on top. I've added 3 photos. What it usually looks like ( I've ordered probably 50 of this drink in the past few years)! What it looks like on the menu. .. and what I was given. And when I asked about the egg white.. they don't do it anymore.... I literally buy the drink because I love the egg white.. maybe take it off the menu as it's now a totally average drink. As a result I went around the corner to have cocktails elsewhere.

Really good food, drinks and lots of options, good environment. Staff was not super attentive, but still worth going I think.

Food was good, the lamb skewers were tender and tasty. The buffalo wings were a bit bland though. Most disappointing was the absolute price gouge for beers. A paddle with 6 x 90ml beers was$19.95 and most beers (core range qld local craft beers, nothing special) were from $13.95-$18.95 for a small 370ml mug!! Not even a schooner and they're charging dearer than pint prices!! When we questioned the waitress if those were the correct prices, she sheepishly said yes and had that look of 'I know, they're a ripoff'. Service was excellent when we arrived but once we ordered drinks and we asked for a minute to decide on our meals, it took over 15 minutes for them to return, the venue wasn't very busy.

Do not order the nachos here!! was very disappointed, the worst I’ve ever had. Full plate of chips with only tiny teaspoon of gauc, salsa, beans and little sprinkle of cheese. Honestly I can make better at home. I guess this place is not for eat but for people who want to drink tower of beer.
