Farbod is a legend! Highly communicative, well priced, he was quick to set up the contract, quick to start the job (about a couple weeks!), experienced and helpful enough to point out typical pitfalls and things to avoid, and above all, did a great job at our bathroom reno. Overall, very helpful, easy to work with, and did an excellent job. When we get around to our next reno, Farbod will be our first call!

Last year we refurbished our bathroom with Farbod. Thanks to Farbod's help the bathroom renovation process was smooth, quick, professional and hassle free even under the ongoing situation of COVID. My apartment is quite old and has a lot of strange design. But Farbod handled it quite well. The communication with Farbod was definitely something worth highlighted as he was always responsive and able to think ahead. Besides Farbod is such a cat friendly person, my cat loves him! Stay far, far away from this contractor! I had a terrible experience with him. My wife and I were excited to renovate our bathrooms and initially, he was full of promises, informing us he could 100% accomplish everything we wanted. However, the moment we paid him the deposit, his attitude changed dramatically. He started making excuses, demanding additional fees, and backtracking on his initial promises. He has runoff with our deposit and has ignored our attempts at contacting him. This contractor is incredibly unprofessional, sneaky, and dishonest. He preys on people's trust and then takes advantage of them, leaving them with nothing but a huge headache and an empty wallet.

In January 2024, we had an emergency. The waterproofing in our main bathroom failed and water was leaking into our downstairs area. A plumbing inspection revealed the problem, so our only option was to renovate the bathroom. Karami Constructions was one of three firms we interviewed for the renovation. We ultimately chose Karami, because Farbod was so professional and punctual. He had a great deal of knowledge, he listened to and understood all of our concerns, and his quote represented value for money. We were so impressed with his attention to detail, and his willingness to accommodate every request we made, that we asked him to renovate our ensuite and our kitchen as well. Now that the renovation is complete, all I can say is the Karami Constructions never wavered in their service delivery or their professionalism. Even in the face of some minor hiccups, Farbod was consistently committed to providing the products we asked for to the highest of standards. I would definitely encourage you to seriously consider Karami Constructions if you are planning a renovation. You won’t be disappointed.
