Not trying to be fancy like the other places on the beach here on the Gold Coast… almost happy to keep the restaurant basic and maybe a little dingy… but not in a bad way if that makes sense. The coffees are reasonable and tasted great. Food was unpretentious, affordable and what you would expect.
Had coffee here 4 mornings in a row, consistently great everytime, also enjoyed 2 of those mornings with a breakfast, which was also great, try it for yourself, be your own judge😁 friendly staff , another great feature.

I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and it was really really good. The feta cheese just makes it so much better. I also ordered the chocolate milkshake but it was kinda mid.
There’s something nostalgic about this old school place - it’s a GC institution and a trip to GC would not be complete without a coffee and homestyle breakfast here. Always a highlight of my trip. 🥰
Coffee and food was great, good value and quality food. Asked for substitutes when ordering and was not a problem. Staff were very friendly and enjoyed beach view at same time
This cafe has been here for as long as I can remember. Great location by the surf & always busy. Food is ordinary, old-fashioned & basic but reasonably priced. My order was the avocado & cream cheese bagel. Bagel was fresh with generous fillings.
