A long term customer here, have everything I need, extensive lists of plants and fruit trees. Recently a fire wiped out the shed/store, but like Phoenix rising from the Ashes, they are trading with all the stock that survived. I love supporting a Family run Independent business that has everything, helpful/knowledgeable customer service, garden supplies and extensive range of plants at good prices ♥️🌲

The team at Colchester Nursery is amazing. Darren was incredibly helpful from the beginning. We first met him at Colchester Nursery with a page of our landscape plan, and he provided a quote for the plants the very next day at a very reasonable price. He also visited our house to review the project and again sent the quote the next day. The whole process with Darren was simple, clear, and very fast. The team who carried out the work were fantastic. All of them had a positive attitude and were very helpful throughout the job. The final result is impeccable and we are extremely happy with how everything turned out. I would totally recommend Colchester Nursery, not only for their plants but also overall landscaping jobs. Darren and the team are super amazing!

Be careful, m their fruit trees are full of leafy curly fungus. Every fruit tree I have purchased if full of fungus and no matter how hard I try with all their advice, I cannot get rid of it every time I have asked for help. Mamma and papa just so give me asked

I come here to buy the organic compost, cow manure and the odd plant. At $6 a bag for organic compost it's a great price. Service is good and very helpful. The guys always prepare the bags and load them into my car for me. Very satisfied and it's great to support local businesses.

Great nursery. Maroondah Council needs to be inundated with complaints about their hampering this business and local employer with getting back on its feet. Write to the Minister for Local Government and local member about Maroondah Council deliberate attempt to block this small business getting back to full trade.

This company seems more interested in protecting their pride than in actually serving their customers. I cannot recommend doing business with a company that treats customer concerns with such dismissiveness.

Be careful when shopping here, after going to all the effort of getting the plants the staff will offer to take the plants to the shop for you while you continue to browse then magically when you get there to pay they’ve doubled the price! Magically the price that was on them before is now gone and the staff just get all awkward and claim they can’t help it, it’s not their decision. Meanwhile the person who did make the decision is no where to be seen. Disgusting behaviour. I try to avoid big conglomerates like bunnings and put money back into local businesses but at least there you are protected by decent policies where they honour their own pricing.
