Glenbrook Native Plant Reserve and Nursery

Beautiful little place with native plants, the volunteer was very informative, helpful and delightful. There's a cute little bridge, pond, seats nice for a little walk and maybe some photos but didn't feel too comfortable since the sign stated there are snakes around, although I picked up a gorgeous eucalyptus seedling for $5 how good is that, will definitely come back.

Great place to visit and buy australian plants such as edibles like the Davidson Plum. Also rainforest varieties, eucalypts, grevilleas,banksias too. Staffed by volunteers who are passionate about the plants and can help if you need ideas for your garden. Afterwards take a stroll in the reserve behind- relaxing atmosphere. Easy access, parking available.

Lovely local nursery, full of endemic plants. The team I met have been knowledgeable, honest, and very warm. Highly recommend for those looking to increase the native biodiversity.

Fabulous selection of Australian natives at unbeatable prices. There is only a very narrow mark up put on plant costs to cover outgoings. The Australian Plant Society Blue Mountains Group is a not-for-profit organization one of whose main aims is to promote the use of our native plants in all garden and landscaping situations. Therefore, the plants are sold to the public at only just above cost to encourage more people to use them in their gardens. Best tip: Go for tube stock They grow faster, establish better and you get a discount for 10 or more. For more tips, ask one of the deeply committed volunteer nursery staff.

Pretty good for what it is. It's run by caring volunteers who are passionate about plants and explain things to you. It has a small but decent variety of young native plants. The hiking trail isn't really looked after and a bit boring. Overall though it was a a nice little place worth checking out if you have a green thumb.

Not a great experience here at all. Staff are pretty rude and don't say hi or ask if you need assistance with anything. And although there were a lot of people in the outdoor section not wearing a mask... one of the workers specifically singled us out and rudely requested we put on a mask and then went straight back into her little office box. Didn't even ask anyone else there to put theirs on. We obviously left straight away and didn't bother buying the handfuls of plants we were planning on buying. We won't be back and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
