Alpine Nurseries

I am restoring a large heritage listed 2 acre garden in the Blue Mountains and spent quite a few months trying to find our ‘nursery home.’ This is it I have been gardening my whole life, and appreciate the quality and health of the plants, wide range, and their competitive pricing. If the plant-people working here seem a bit standoffish (as per some negative reviews here) to customer who choose to ignore the wholesale focus, walk in wanting one $6 plant with impossible set of competing characteristics, and expect instant an undivided attention from a team already hard at work managing a large number of plants and landscapers really well; it would be expected that alpine would react with a polite "i can chat but am busy and we are wholesale not retail, please speak to your landscaper for one plant." That would like sort of like walking up to a zookeeper who is busy attending to the living things they are focussed on, demanding to cuddle a lion and being annoyed when they ask you to go speak to a subcontractor who runs a petting zoo I know my plants, and I know I want a lot of them, so this nursery is a great fit

We are builders who buy from alpine regularly for our projects. We are not landscapers and we often ask the staff at alpine for advice and guidance. Always helpful Great business to deal with especially the staff at the trade mart

As long as you aren't dealing with someone called 'PAM' on the phone or in person, you'll be OK. Everyone else is nice, especially the saleswomen at the registers (Julie or Julia I believe her name was). Ms P has a huge attitude and needs to be put out to pasture.

Great plants - wholesale only. They deserve a high rating - peeps who give low rating are peeved because they can’t buy at Alpine

It use to be the premier nursery in Sydney but the last year or two , but the quality of plants and service has declined considerably. The staff all look miserable.

Lady on the phone was so rude. Called them on behalf of my dad WHO IS A LANDSCAPER and she blantantly told me to get my dad to call because they don't sell to the general public and hung up on me.

Good variety of all plants and trees
