BIG W Campsie

I had an issue about a missing receipt. Had to change a cooler. No other staff was as helpful as much as Judy and Nicole. A big thank you guys so much.

Big W Campsie is one of the first stores to open in 1964 and for the past 30 years Michelle has been apart of their merchandise team. Shopping for gifts especially for overseas is hard but with her help I was able to find what I needed amongst their wide range of clothing for adults and babies. I was also helped by Kevin from the online team who has also worked for Big W for 10 years regarding my $20 gift voucher but I had to spend $100 to claim it, before I decided to buy online I wanted to go into the store to see the quality of their merchandise and I was pleasantly surprised with the range especially considering their affordable prices. In the end and thanks to the help of Michelle and Kevin I was able to spend less and keep my $20 discount to use on my next online order. The store was clean, well stocked and organized, the centre is under renovations but the car park is in the basement and it’s 3 hours free parking with excellent wheelchair access using the flat escalators.

I’d like to sincerely thank the older woman with blonde hair and glasses working in the service area this morning for the "great service." While I was standing right in front of her holding my item, there was not a single greeting — which I don’t really mind — but I was met with a cold look over the glasses resting on her nose, clearly sizing me up. Any question I asked was answered with obvious impatience and irritation. I don’t know if she is going through something difficult in her personal life, but if that’s the case, perhaps management at Big W Campsie should pay more attention to their staff’s wellbeing and mental health. Customer service should not feel uncomfortable or unwelcoming.

I really liked the environment at Campsie Big W. The staff are helpful, especially Fouzia, who assisted us greatly by giving valuable suggestions when buying a mountain bike. After shopping, my kids were also able to enjoy playing in the playland area, which made the experience even better.

The fabric zipped up laundry box with transparent side was on offer and was perfect to store bulky warm weather clothing. Aisles were neat and clearly labelled which made it easy to zoom directly to pickup what I needed. Parking is free for first three hours, so a quick trip other nearby shops make this a good place to park. The basement carpark had lots of lots available if you don’t mind walking a bit further to the lifts or escalators

Great shopping destination. Everything is affordable here - from clothes to air fryers. Sometimes the clotbes section has some good looking clothes. I remember coming here 30 years ago. Nostalgic vibes. Oldy but a goody. Also, Big W is the bomb!
