I find Ceres nursery to be very useful for finding plants, pots and other garden knick knacks that may not be at other nurseries or that are hard to find. The general atmosphere feels relaxing and organic in the layout as you go from inside to outside. I do love this place and its vibe.

A very impressive collection of sustainable enterprises, cafes, markets, gardens and playgrounds and lots of shady spots to sit and soak it all in. Located along the Merri creek, and with parking just off Nicholson St (end of #96 tram line), there are many options to get to Ceres: bikes, walking, car, tram or bus. The cafe has fresh food, and coffees, plus refills for your the most sustainable of households.

Has everything, classes, food, toilets and a well organised nursery of beautiful flowers and seedlings. Gravel paths are slippery if you have a disability.

I love this nursery. Ceres consistently has a great range of herb/veg seedlings that are always healthy and perform well (nowhere has a better range of tomato varieties), beautiful pottery, and interesting Indigenous plants suitable for backyards or balconies. The nursery is a beautiful and well maintained space, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and I love that I can bring my dog. Thank you Ceres!
