The most beautiful nursery I have ever been to. Even more beautiful than the national park nearby. I love walking through the display garden and watching the birds. Although small, Austplant has the most exquisite and broad collection of Australian natives of any nursery. I always find a new plant to fall in love with. It’s quite a special place. The people who keep it going are so friendly and helpful and just lovely to chat to.

Such generous and kind service. I called ahead and explained I needed to plant a whole garden in a hurry, I was 33 weeks pregnant. I arrived with scale drawings and photos of the space. They worked with me all morning to find the best selections, found me a spot to sit when I needed a break, helped me load the plants into my car, even drew me a planting plan!! 6 months later and our garden is looking spectacular. I couldn't have asked for more.
Gorgeous and unusual plants reasonably priced set amidst beautiful bushland.
Great selection and service. One of the best native nurseries for sure. Pretty easy to identify what will work in your own garden with their addition markings on the usual plant tags. A tube stock range would be a great addition (maybe I’ve missed them?). Worth a drive. Go on the cable car close by and make a day of it.
The most staggering collection of native Australian plants, with staff who offer insightful advice... And who can identify plants based on photos or leaves, an incredibly valuable, jaw-dropping skill.
