Great experience! Went for 2 hours in the morning. It is outside and the weather was glorious in March. Loved all the hot pools, waterfalls, and cold plunge. Very relaxing and rejuvenating especially after a long flight from the US. Rented a locker for our bags. Showers, restrooms, and facility were very clean and well maintained.
A nice place to relax. I walked over from the train station and it was around 30 minutes, but there is also a bus (route 5 I think) that will take you most of the way if you also don’t have a car. Be sure to check out the beach nearby when you’re done! I enjoyed going between the different pools although the cold plunge was too cold for me! My favorite was the yellow sensory cave. It kept me out of the sun and was nice to sit in. I did get a little burned on my shoulders so definitely be better prepared than me. The drinking water was very cold and refreshing. I really enjoyed smelling the jasmine as I walked around. The landscaping added to the lovely experience. Lockers are available to rent. They easily fit the bags I had for my weekend trip and lock/unlock with a waterproof wristband. I appreciated the swimsuit tumblers so I didn’t have to carry a dripping swimsuit. The changing rooms are large and accessible. The whole space was clean. I would recommend coming here to relax on your vacation!
I have visited Deep Blue Hot Springs 3 times now and have thoroughly enjoyed my visit each time. The grounds are easy to access and all the spas have hand rails to help with entry, the temperature of the spas vary so if you like it a bit cooler or a bit warmer there is something for everyone. The staff are lovely and come round to offer water throughout the visit. I recall my first and second visits were 3 hour booking but the third visit timing had been reduced to 2 hours which was a bit disappointing. I have visited in summer and winter and both were lovely times to visit. I have only visited during the night session so I can’t comment on the day sessions, but the night session is very relaxing. The only issue I have found is that this is not suitable for wheelchair users or anyone with significant physical disabilities.
We tried the Daytime Bathing 2 hour package, and spent $114 for 2 people. The water was great, real geothermal minerals not fake heating. You need to pay extra for a towel, robe, or a locked locker. You can bring your own towel, which I did, and use a big shopping bag to put all my stuff together in the free shelf locker. You can tumble dry wet bathing suits, which is handy if you forget to bring a plastic bag. Easy parking, nice location. The bathing experience was marvellous. Because they limited people in each time slot, it wasn't hectic inside. They provided water and cuyp so you don't have to carry your water bottle around. You can't bring a handbag to the pool area, and are allowed to take a pic/video without other patron on frame. There are various little pools you can try with different heat levels and special features like a cave, rainfall, passage, waterfall, spa-like etc. Each pool has a little sign showing you the name of the pool and the temperature. There is also a cold plunge available, and a spot to chill on beanie bags or open grass.
The stay was good and the staffs too. Good ocean view rooms, and ofcourse the hot springs. The place is well maintained. Parking is a little problematic, if you can find a parking outside the hotel, you have to pay 10$ to get a locked parking from Hotel.
We went in a warm day. Take a hat and sunscreen. Personally there were to many people. It was nice and relaxing. Needs more than 1 cold plunge pool. I went to go in so many times and it was packed. Overall it was a nice experience. We didn’t get to use all pool as there were just to many people.
Second time visiting Deep Blue Hot Springs ♨️ in Warrnambool and still love it! 🌊 The pools aren’t big but super diverse — aromatherapy 🌿, bubble 💦, cold plunge ❄️, even a cave-style pool 🕳️. The reflective pool at night 🌌 is stunning, so peaceful and magical. ✨ Facilities are well thought out 👍:unisex change rooms with private lockable booths 🚪, heated floors 🔥, water station 💧, towel/robe rental 🧖♀️. Booking online is simple 💻, but twilight sessions sell out fast ⏳ — book early! Overall, such a relaxing & unique hot spring experience ❤️ Perfect for couples, friends or families 👩👩👧👦.
