Stone Depot - Natural Stone Wholesalers

Please don't make the same mistake I did by using stone depot.Don't be fooled like I was,by using a cheaper product. Firstly,I paid a very excessive $500 delivery fee,when the warehouse is 4kms away. The driver called and asked where I wanted the pavers. I asked him to place them as high as possible,up the driveway. He illegally placed the pallets on the council strip, against my wishes. He later told his manager,that I had cars parked in the driveway but photos proved that he lied. After proving to stone depot and logistics company owner, that their driver was dishonest and just wanted a quick drop-off, they still requested I pay $120 to have another driver return and move the pallets to the location I wanted. Delivery fee was now $620. After proving to the new driver, through pics and videos, that the initial driver was capable of placing pallets in correct position, his boss said I would be receiving a $120 refund after a few days. Stone depot also said I would be getting that amount back. That was another lie by Smruti from stone depot and logistics Co. No refund given. Stone depot can hide behind the excuse of using a third party company but the problem will always be theirs, which they refused to fix. Next heart breaking issue was coming home after the tilers had laid the pavers, to see that the coping tiles were a different colour to the rest of the pavers. I ordered the same colour for every paver. Immediately calling Smruti/Sam from stone depot to voice my concern, I was told not to worry, and that the colours would be the same, once the tilers sealed everything. When I told the tilers that, they laughed and said no chance, and they were 100% correct. After having them sealed, i sent pictures to stone depot, showing them they were different, they responded by saying that I should expect variations in pavers. This isn't a variation in pavers, like the variations one accepts, from any batch. I'm still dumb founded that stone depot offered to give me a refund of $20(twenty dollars) for this absolutely unacceptable situation. Please do not make the same mistake I made by using stone depot, especially while they're happy to use a delivery company that lies and tricks customers.Go with a professional, honest company.

Absolutely love my silver blue Travertine tiles. I ordered theae tiles online without seeing them in person. They are exactly what was described and the quality is superb even our tiler was impressed. . 3 years laters and im still in love. They look even better with a landscaped pool yard. Thankyou to Stone Depot. Your customer service was fantastic particularly for someone who lives regional (5 hours from Stone Depot). 5 stars!!

I placed an online enquiry with The Stone Depot and the following day was contacted by Amit. All the details I had requested were provided promptly and accurately. I placed an order for prompt delivery prior to Christmas and Amit assured me the tiles would be delivered, and continued to provide updated delivery information. I really appreciated the efficient service and prompt delivery and now that the tiles are installed, I am really happy with the quality. I would not hesitate to order from The Stone Depot again.

Found Stone Depot completely by accident after I was desperately trying to find bullnose pavers that would not take over two months to be delivered. Travis from Stone Depot was very accommodating, answered all my questions and delivered on his promise to get me the pavers by the following week. Great pavers, reasonable price and exceptional service. Highly recommended.

Beware! We purchased Tundra Grey Marble from Stone Depot $111.95/sqm total 65 sqm. approx $7,200 + $450 delivery. I've noticed while the pavers were still in crates that there are noticeable damages and broken pieces, at least 15 pieces. I've sent Amit an email in mid Dec 22 of photos of what I can see so far without having unpacked the crate. We were away overseas end Dec/beg Jan and I've just realised that we've not heard from Stone Depot about replacing the damaged pavers so I've had to re-send the email mid Jan 23 to chase it up. After the pavers got unpacked, total chipped & broken corners 33 pieces! It took our installer another 4 hours to sand all the edges prior to install ($400 extra cost)! Due to the delay with concrete/installation, our paving has now just started. We were informed by our installer that we need the stone edge around the pool area. So we contacted Amit from Stone Depot to advise we needed 40x pieces @$89 urgently. Due to the urgency we opt to pick up the 40x pieces @20kgs each to have it ready for our installer. We've had to hire someone professionally carry each 20kg x 40 pieces (took 2 1/2 hours @$250 at our cost) for them to be ready. We have now been advised by our installer that at least 20 pieces were unsatisfactory/damaged/chipped. 😩Photos were taken from the Depot still on crate as per photo. So we had to contact Amit at least 5-6 emails/phone calls to advise what Stone Depot can do to assist? Our installer had to stop his job for a day until we've heard from Amit. Amit has advised us to take all the 20++ pieces back to their depot ourselves and they can replace them! 🥵 I contacted the Manager of Stone Depot to advise him that the total hours spent of picking up and loading the pavers, the cost of unloading and manually, piece by piece (20kgs each) of 40x pavers to us and having to return them since their stock was damaged they were not prepared for any compensation cost. He advised go back to the warehouse and pick the replacement! Amit advised us someone will be there to assist in unpacking and loading? So my husband had to go back to the warehouse to return the damaged goods and no one was there to help! My husband had to unload 20++ pieces(20kgs each) and then realised half of the pavers they have for replacement were worst! So he ended up loading back half the original pavers back in the van! 😰 Our 16 year old son had to carry 20++ (20kgs) pavers himself so the job can start today! To return the damaged pavers for a refund we were told would be 25% re-stocking fee. No compensation for their mistake. Check All Photos! A pictures is worth a thousand words!

Stone Depot met our requirements of supply and delivery of the pavers within agreed timeframe and terms. Their price was very competitive with the industry dominant supplier of this product, which is great. Their communication was excellent providing every detail and information before asking, which is great PR.

I’m really pleased with the purchase of travertine tiles for our swimming pool. Finding the right option was made so much easier with Travis, he was able to help promptly with any and all my questions. The product is great value for money and the only observation is that the stones are a little bit more slippery than we would like but otherwise came up really nice.
