Initial phone contact was friendly & knowledgeable. On phoning around, The Good Soil had unbeatable prices. I ordered a delivery over the phone for early on a Saturday. The driver turned up spot on time, was very helpful. Soil quality was excellent. All round I can't fault this company - great friendly efficient service and that goes a long way. Backed up by quality product at excellent price. If I ever needed more soil, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Monday 17th August 2020 I had a frightening encounter with a Select Quarries driver of tipper and dog on the M5 near Liverpool. Just like the other earlier review, the driver was driving way too fast for the conditions and traffic and tailgated me dangerously close and then proceeded to blast on the horn . As I had a car in front of me and one beside, and we were travelling at the signposted speed, I'm not sure what action I could have taken. His behaviour is reckless and downright dangerous. I did notify the company and am still waiting to get a response.
Been ordering soil so many times from here and very good products and services. Great and easy ordering process with option to be paid by CC or at delivery by cash. Convenient. Other places (FwPw) do not have that flexible options in paying
A very very agressive truck and dog driving down the m7 (14:19 Thursday 11th April 2019). Reckless and careless driving swerving in and out of lanes. Leaving less than minimal gaps between cars. Absolute disgrace. And danger to those around him.
Quick service with a nice loader, got a 1 tonne load in the back of my ute no fuss.
Excellent sales and service. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended
Their drivers are ignorant and park wherever they want, contrary to NO STOPPING signs.
