Hummock Lookout offers a beautiful view of Bundaberg city on one side and Bargara on the other. It’s a must-visit spot to take in the stunning scenery of the farmlands and coastline. The area is quiet with little traffic, making it an easy and relaxing place to enjoy the cool breeze from the top of the hill.
Bundaberg is very very flat with one little hill on it that has an outlook with a small gazebo that has an electric speaking overview on the history of the area. There is also a monument in honour of Bert Hinkler, but it is missing the bronze plane that is meant to be on top of it. If in the area I would pop up, it doesn’t take long and you can see the whole area.
This place is amazing views all round and a must do for sunrise or to watch amazing sunsets

Fabulous view. Great information board which also has informative audio clips about the geology and formation of the local surroundings. Parking and shaded picnic area with great views.
A treasure in Bundaberg, a sight to behold. Don’t miss your chance to view Bundaberg Nanette surrounding regions from the top on The Hummock. You can see as far as the ocean all the way across the cane fields and to the mountains and beyond. An iconic spot where we made many boozy memories as teenagers. Long live the hummock
