Gallery Pejean

I attended an art exhibition at Gallery Pejean whilst on a short getaway. It was a fabulous evening listening to the exhibiting artist discuss his inspiration and experiences. I walked away with three of the most beautiful pieces by Tasmanian artist, Helene Weeding who creates the most amazing art in various mediums. I am very much looking forward to going back to this gallery on my next visit!

Although they do display wonderful local artwork... the arrogance within the poor service did not welcome you at all. We walked into the gallery excited and left feeling unwelcome. Whatever you do, do not walk in when they are about to close! You will be kicked out rather than informed of the closure of the gallery.

Under new ownership, my partner and I had a great experience with the new owner. Very friendly, great service and welcoming atmosphere. Wonderful artwork to match. Must check out!

Very rude staff today who said "can’t you see the sign on the door we are closed?", when in fact the front door was truly wide open and the sign she was referring was not obvious because the front door was wide open. My friends and I were all shocked, wouldn’t come in again to buy anything even if we have million USD to spend. To be avoided unless you don’t mind bad experience and treated like you owe them something. Good luck!

Galley Pejean has exhibitions by established artists and excellent new work by emerging artists. We have now purchased a number of paintings from Pejean and Margot has been great to deal with

Great art gallery with amazing works from local artists. The owner was really friendly and happy to show us through all the work. Would go back to Launceston again just to see the incredible display of works again.

While the artwork we purchased was lovely, sadly I cannot say the same for the customer service. Haughty, a complete lack of willingness to help with transport and significant rudeness. Would not recommend.
