I stopped by Lakemba Mosque to pray Dhuhr. Alhamdulillah, the mosque is very big and clean. There is a parking area, which is very helpful. On the ground floor, there are many multifunction rooms. This is one of the biggest mosques in Sydney. I feel happy and peaceful to worship here.
The Lakemba Mosque is truly a beautiful and peaceful place of worship. It has a welcoming environment, and you can always feel the strong sense of community as soon as you enter. The mosque is well-maintained, with excellent facilities for families, brothers, and sisters. The Imams and volunteers are very knowledgeable and approachable, always ready to guide and support. During Friday prayers and Ramadan, the atmosphere is especially uplifting, with Muslims from all walks of life coming together in unity. It’s inspiring to see such diversity and brotherhood in one place. Whether you’re coming for daily prayers, Jummah, or special programs, Lakemba Mosque is more than just a masjid – it’s a true hub for the Muslim community in Sydney. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a place of worship, learning, or simply a peaceful space to connect with Allah.
Masyaallah tabarakallah So proud for muslim community for building such a great and landmark mosque in Australia.
Big mosque. Mosque have designated woman area with ablution too... Also have Muslim funeral services. Not so far from public transport services. We had a good rest here
Local People think they owns the mosque. They have the parking but don’t have sense that if they blocking off atleast come after prayer and move your car. Even if you are doing good deeds asked yourself that is it good by troubling others and blocking other cars. So don’t park in this mosque parking and I’ll say this mosque is big but the hearts are so small so better don’t come here there other very good mosques in Lakemba better go there.
One of the biggest mosque in Sydney City situated at Lakemba. Five time prayers along with Jummah and Tarawi prayers are being performed.
