A prefect place for picnic. The park has the public toilets, water fountain and it is next to the tram stop. Always keeping the eyes on your food, because there are many seagulls.

Fabulous Firelight 🔥 Festival at Docklands. Loved the vibes…Huge stage music performances as well as solo singing by upcoming artists. Food trucks and eating options galore. And of course, there was fire everywhere; barrels, sky shots, decor, warmers…It was crowded but v organised. Loved the fire show, street parade and art installations too. Great fun. Another awesome annual winter festival in Melbourne.

Visited the Firelights Festival at Docklands. The Firelight Festival is an annual winter celebration held in Melbourne’s Docklands, transforming the waterfront into a vibrant spectacle of fire, light, music, and culinary delights. The Firelight Festival is Melbourne’s premier free winter event, renowned for its vibrant multicultural atmosphere, cozy and ambient experience, and inclusive community engagement. Held annually in Docklands, the festival transforms the waterfront into a dazzling wonderland of fire, light, music, and food. Great place for families to toast marshmallows on open fire pits, whilst enjoying the spectacular display of fire and lights. Food trucks were in abundance! Free entry, free live performances- an affordable night out for families to experience a number of displays and installations.

Great place to visit! Plenty of walking area, to go right around docklands, plenty of places to get a bite to eat and a coffee, and restaurants available, and is also close to tram transport to get you into the city centre! Also close to a big shopping mall with heaps of shops, even has a bowling alley, and mini golf located inside and also has other eatery options available. Recommend for a great day out!

Docklands has changed in the last few years from buzzing to quiet. Probably due to all the covid lockdowns. I enjoyed walking in this area as it was practically deserted. Nice place to meander by the water & take in some fresh sea air

The city offers a breathtaking view, especially when admiring the Dockyard. Additionally, there are several incredible restaurants and shopping centers nearby, providing a delightful experience for visitors. Not to forget, the Melbourne Star is also just a stone's throw away, adding to the charm of the place. I highly recommend visiting Melbourne to experience its vibrant atmosphere and explore all it has to offer.

Medium sized city park in the Docklands area of Melbourne, located a short walk from the CBD. Has large areas of open grass but not much shade, a children’s playground and public toilets. Not much to see here and limited food and drink options, you’ll need to head back to the city or Southbank for the action. Overall a bit sterile much like the whole Docklands area.
