10/10 wonderful botanical gardens! Not as big as other city's, however, it makes up in tours, information, cafes, and trails. The design and information is thoughtfully thought out, with multiple different entrance points, and different buildings to explore, the gardens are truly amazing. Central to town and with good public transportation options to the main entrance, I cant say enough good things about these gardens. I will go back time and time again! Thank you!
Excellent grounds!! Really well maintained and laid out. The size of the gardens is perfect with a relatively compact size compared to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney. This meant you could navigate the gardens fully in half a day without having to trek huge distances. We visited a few of the pavilions but the Bicentennial Conservatory was unfortunately shut due to extreme heat. Definitely worth a visit!
The botanic garden of Adelaide is awesome! The place is good to have a walk, to relax on the lawn or see a large amount of different plants. I would recommend taking water with you since there are limited possibilities to get some. Especially on hot summer days it can get quite hot there. All in all a good thing to do when visiting Adelaide!
"The Adelaide Botanic Garden is a beautiful place to visit, with stunning grounds and a wide variety of plants and nature to explore. Perfect for a relaxing walk, a picnic with family, or letting kids enjoy the playground. The atmosphere is peaceful and well maintained, making it a truly enjoyable spot. Highly recommended for nature lovers and anyone visiting Adelaide!"
Lovely spot to wander around on a quiet day. Loads of pretty sights and attractions.
What could be better than a morning wander through the garden, with the scent of flowers carried on the crisp autumn breeze and the sun casting a golden glow over the petals? Time seemed to slow right down, letting the fragrance weave through my hair, brush against my fingertips, and settle in every glance. Even on the walk back, the sweet scent lingered in the air and covered my soul. With love,
Absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, we didn't get there until 10.30am and the queue to see the Corpse Flower in flower (a rare event) was 2-3 hours long. It was just too hot to do that today. But the gardens are stunning. An absolutely beautiful place to stroll around.
