Victoria State Rose Garden

We visited the Victoria State Rose Garden not long ago, and it was absolutely stunning! Went with the family and our dog, and we spent hours wandering around. The roses are everywhere, in so many colours and shapes, and the fragrance in the air is just amazing. It really feels like stepping into a living painting. We took our time strolling along the paths, admiring the flower beds, and taking a few photos. The garden is peaceful but full of life, and there are plenty of spots to sit and just enjoy the view. If you love flowers, this place is an absolute must-see. The variety of roses is incredible, the atmosphere is calming, and it’s perfect for a relaxed day out. Can’t recommend it enough!

Beautiful! Stunning!! Great place to have picnic and hang out. Very chill. Great for kids to run around and kick a ball if you find a spot that's not busy. Lots of places to wonder around. The roses are stunning and just calming to look at.Parking is easy and public toilets are not to far of a walk!

The Victorian State Rose Garden is absolutely stunning! The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by thousands of beautifully maintained roses in every colour imaginable. The layout is thoughtful and makes for a peaceful stroll — perfect for photography or just soaking in the scent of fresh blooms. The volunteers here do an incredible job keeping the garden so pristine. It’s lovely to see how much care and passion goes into maintaining the space. Highly recommend visiting during peak bloom season when the roses are at their most vibrant. A must-visit spot for garden enthusiasts, families, and anyone who loves a relaxing day outdoors

A very beautiful rose garden, so many varieties. Been here several times. Every year they have rose festival, but going there during weekdays, I could enjoy better the garden and walk the surrounding area. It's a must visit place if you're in Victoria!

Superb place. Excellent varieties of roses, delightful to watch. We visited this place exactly 10 years back. While it is still beautiful, it felt like not at the same level as of 10 years back. If you are visiting during a hot summer day, please carry a Cap and water. You can plan a day out visiting this garden along with the open range Werribee zoo as they are next to each other.

The Victoria State Rose Garden is stunning in spring. The rose collection is massive and beautifully varied, you will really notice it when you stop to read the name plates on each rose bed. It’s a peaceful spot to wander, admire the colours, and soak up the garden’s charm.

A perfect summer getaway, especially in November! This destination is ideal for family gatherings, with plenty of open space for kids to have fun and explore. Bring along a picnic mat and enjoy the stunning beauty of blooming roses, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing day outdoors. It’s also an excellent spot for photo shoots, offering picturesque scenery for memorable family photos.
