Botanicah South Yarra

I had the most incredible experience at this store today ! the whole store was absolutely beautiful - every plant was perfect & beautifully presented. Our servers ( harris and dion) were attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable. I can't wait to come back and try more plants and pots from their range . Definitely our new favourite Plant store!

Amazing variety of beautiful plants, but the highlight of going to Botanicah South Yarra, was the stunning customer service we received. Blake is Helpful, kind and has great recommendations! It is definetly our Plants store moving forward. We will be back! Thank you Blake!

Drove from Geelong today to check this place out as I’m a plant collector. Took me 2 hours to get there and to say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. Almost none of the plants were healthy, apart from the bottle trees they’re trying to flog off because they’ve purchased too many wholesale. There was only 3 different types of plants that could be considered ‘collector items’ that were struggling with life, while the rest was horrendously overpriced crap you can get from Bunnings. After walking around browsing for 10 minutes (almost on my way out the door) I was finally approached and asked ‘Is there anything I can help you with’ while my back was turned. My surprise was evident that I was being spoken to and I said ‘Oh no thanks, just browsing. But thank you anyway’ with a smile on my face. I was then met with an eye roll and a ‘huff’. There was no animosity in my voice so I couldn’t understand why I received the reaction I did. Also note, there are little to no prices on things. Probably because it’s South Yarra and if you need to see or ask for the price of something, you clearly can’t afford it. Vibes were off, plants were definitely not thriving in their environment (also I dare say there’s a bit of root rot going on and lack of light), and I was met with an eye roll when being extremely polite. Won’t be back and definitely won’t be recommending the place.

This plant store has extremely poor customer service. I purchased a Monstera deliciosa that was kept only in water and was sold without soil or a plastic plant pot. Unfortunately, I only noticed this after bringing the plant home. I returned to the store to ask for the original pot, but the staff told me that the plant was intentionally sold without one and that I would need to buy a separate pot for $2. Since I specifically needed a pot without drainage holes, I asked if they could sell me the original pot the plant had been in. They refused to do so. When I asked for a refund instead, I was told that plants are non-refundable once sold, even though this policy was not clearly explained at the time of purchase. What made the experience particularly unpleasant was the arrogant and dismissive attitude of the male staff member, who showed little concern for customer satisfaction and made no effort to help resolve the issue. Overall, the lack of clear communication, rigid policies, and unprofessional attitude resulted in a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this store due to their poor customer service.

A fantastic wide ranging selection of beautiful healthy indoor and outdoor plants. Harris is super friendly and knowledgeable. Loving my plants who look absolutely stunning, thanks for teaching me how to keep them alive and thriving !!!

Super friendly and an excellent selection of plants and pots. Some more unique plants are stocked so you’re likely to find something even if you already have many plants. Very well priced too. Found this beauty to take home 💚 Highly recommend!

Excellent beginner bonsai class! Kiarra was so great at explaining everything, and it was such great value for money. Beautiful setting too.
