Billabong Garden Complex (a social enterprise business of ConnectGV)

Hello dear readers, once again I found myself at the most delicious Cafe called the Billabong Cafe and nursery. Oh my gosh, can you get any more Aussie. Also this Cafe is connected to a supported needs service in the local area called Connect GV, whom do such wonderful work helping the members of our community who have a supported need. Buuuut, back to the food and Cafe. As you walk in you are greeted by the very lovely interior that has some of the most gorgeous nick nack items, and seeds for purchase, as you can see from the pictures. We sat out in the back area of the nursery/Cafe and had the most glorious seating surrounded by plants many of which are for sale. The table was shaded by a big umbrella. As we sipped our water and laughed allot, we ordered our food, the names of the food had some very sumptuous names. At this time I need to say, that due to the massive popularity of this Cafe you need to make a longer allocation of time for your food to come out, it may take a little longer than normal. But truuuust me so worth the investment of time. All in all some of the best food I have ever had, so fresh, and good portions, the chips, of the chips, the best I have ever had, for real my dear readers. So rush, run, leap, drive to this great Cafe/nursery and you will not be disappointed.

I took part in an event today, in the new building on site at the nursery and it was brilliant. What a time!! Great space, lovely lighting, clean kitchen facilities and delightful staff. The workshop was delivered by @Marli Kelly Designs as part of the Shepparton Festival

Wonderful training hub. Roomy with everything needed to hold meetings and or training. Only complaint was it became stuffy and the air con did not work well.

Always lovely to come here when I visit my Dad in shepp. Good food, lovely coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. Even if it can be a little hot sometimes. Wide variety of beautiful plants and accessories and friendly staff. They treat my father who cannot speak any more in a very understanding, lovely way. Looking forward to coming again when I'm back up this way.

I love visiting now that Little Gourmet Food Company is running the Cafe. Mind you the whole complex is just beautiful and the gift range is just fabulous. Of course being able to sit outside in the garden in the warmer weather is delightful. Staff are friendly and customer service is terrific.

This is an excellent nursery with a quality Cafe on site. Staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. A very large of plants and gardening accessories are on site with plenty of knowledgeable staff available to advise and assist. The whole place has a very relaxing and very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Love going here on my way home from Shepparton. Have some good buys and also some expensive plants. Generally buy something every time I stop there. Have a cute eatery area also. Staff very friendly. Good parking just watch the pot holes.
