I love the garden! It’s a magical community space. I’ve had so many special times with my kids here- at community events, pottering around and chatting to folks about their gardens, being given cuttings to take home or interesting fruits to try. It’s such a special place of connection, we need more in our community!
A lush green hidden gem in Hurstville. Open on Sundays for tours from 10ish until noon. Go during a workshop or bi monthly crop swap which is livelier. I learned to grow herbs , tomatoes and how to compost here.
Great garden. Open for public visit every Sunday 9am-11am and crop swap on the first Sunday of every second month.
The most exclusive community garden ever. Visitors with genuine interest in gardening were treated as potential thieves by some and were told off when trying to identify some plants using mobile phones.
Nice garden and friendly people, they have crop swap event occasionally.
While this is a great initiative, it seems some private use are not very welcome based on the notice on the board there
