Staff are super friendly, there is a range of things to get and its a very safe and welcoming space. I was even able to get some cat food which really helps!
Fantastic community initiative.
Last year, I visited this place as a single mum with my newborn baby during a very difficult time in my life. I came seeking support and some basic food supplies. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Different staff members seemed to have different rules. One person would say I could only take one of a certain item, while another would say two were allowed. I tried my best to follow the instructions given to me, but then someone else would approach me and ask me to return items. It was confusing and, at times, quite humiliating. In a situation where people are already feeling vulnerable, consistency and kindness are so important. Sadly, I did not feel supported, and because of this experience, I will not be returning.
