My son bought over $5k worth of DeWalt gear only to find his plunge saw had a faulty catch that released the blade for change over. He took it back but the staff did not have the product knowledge to be able to help and one in particular was almost rude. At our request the Manage came and did everything he could to help fix the problem but in the end agreed it would need to be sent back to DeWalt for assessment and fixing or replacing. The saw eventually came back but nothing had changed - that’s because the Total Tools staff had put the wrong fault details on it before it was sent! Back it went a second time, except it never left the store and instead the ‘Rep’ had a look at it and tried to fix it himself! This has not worked and the catch is still extremely difficult to use. The staff member yesterday was downright rude in his explanation and insisting it worked ‘fine’. They were very unhelpful and Total Tools have certainly not done anything to push a suitable fix to this problem. My son is a Total tools customer NOT a DeWalt customer first and foremost. Now the ‘Rep’ is on holidays until 10 April and apparently nothing can be done until he gets back. Really disgraceful customer service toward a tradie who has spent thousands of dollars and needs this saw for his work.

I knew what I was looking for, just not the specific model. Briefly after having a look by myself I was approached by a friendly helpful staff member who assisted me in choosing the right tool.Wayne was helpful in asking questions to determine what aspects were required from the dropsaw for me. Once I decided, the checkout and loading into the car were seamless. Thanks for a successful shopping trip!

Good service, good products. It’s not the mostly cheap crap one finds at Bunnings. You do pay more for solid tools that last longer.

Bought a demolition saw for a specific job, the staff member advised a type of blade to cut steel. The blade cost $200 and only cut a few cuts before the teeth disintegrated, I took it back and to their credit they fully refunded me, and recommended a more suitable blade.

I buy all my tools from Total Tools. The staff are always helpful and they’ve got everything I need as a tradesman. I would highly recommend them.
