Really nice place for a walk in nature and the staff were super nice.
Very nice tranquil trek in the woods. Offers great opportunities to see Aussie animals up close. This place deserves more recognition.
Well taken care of, friendly staff, plants sign posted, interesting history and well maintained tracks, heaps of nest boxes in all sorts of shapes that are specific to different species; you can purchase at their store! I saw kangaroos, skinks, cormorants, and heaps of other birds. Would love if they could offer a late afternoon day once a month or something would be awesome to see the nocturnal creatures or see more activity at dusk 🌅
A group of 16 of us visited the Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary as part of a community event to engage LGBTQIA+ identifying people in Indigenous plants and animals, and they're importance to our surroundings. We were so thrilled to have Berenice as our tour guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. It is so lucky that this space is available so close to the city, and I would not hesitate in recommending a tour to anyone! I'll definitely be back for a twilight tour to see some of those famous sugar gliders! Thank you for everything!
A pleasant evening to do walk in the sanctuary. My only problem was not being able to hear clearly what the guide was saying. It would have been best if the guide had gathered everyone around before the guide started speaking. As it was, the guide started speaking while those at the back or slower walkers, were still arriving.
One of the great experience far from the city life.. Observing wild life.. Peaceful environment with whole lots of information about the wildlife creatures and life.
Great range of local native plants - groundcovers, vines, grasses, shrubs, trees etc in tube stock. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff and volunteers who are passionate about native plants.
