Werribee Park

I love this place. Beautiful mansion and grounds. Plenty of room to find a spot to sit and have a prepacked picnic lunch or if you're feeling like spending some cash you could try the kiosk there. Rose garden is pretty but blooms at certain times of the year.

Werribee mansion went for walk through beautiful gardens . Admiring historic buildings and well planned gardens. Walked through the hotel and day spa. Werribee mansion Very enjoyable place to visit.

Every corner feels special — from the grand mansion and beautiful rose garden to the open green spaces and peaceful walking trails. The whole area has this timeless charm that makes you slow down and just take it all in. I love how well-kept everything is, and the gardens are always bursting with life. Whether you’re exploring the historic mansion, having a picnic under the trees, or wandering through the rose garden nearby, there’s something so grounding and beautiful about it all. It’s one of those spots that never loses its magic, no matter how many times you visit.

What a great outing for the young and young at heart over the school holidays to immerse yourself in the world of dinosaur's for 90 minutes. Great return on investment for the $$ spent on admission and the kids smiles, awe and enjoyment in return. Designed for the younger kids say under 10yrs. Dont park at the zoo parking but follow the signals towards Werribee Mansion. Plenty of DinoFest signage to lead you in. Session starts in the main paddock sitting standing behind a rope. Big dinos come out as well as carried dinos for the kids to pat. Very realistic up close with the DinoRangers very patient and engaging with the kids. The main announcer well informed and provided a very educational narrative and kept the kids engaged throughout. After the Dino "show" you get to enter the paddock to get up close to a lot of other dinos, some fenced off but many allowing hands on for the kids for their tactile enjoyment. Make sure the mobile or camera is fully charged for the many photos you will take. Kids will absolutely love the experience and talk about for ages.

Such a beautifully restored building and the nearby rose garden was a pleasure to visit. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Highly recommend 🙂

Such a lovely and spacious park! 🌳 I really enjoyed my time at Whittlesea Park — it’s big, clean, and peaceful. There’s an old beautiful castle-like building, lots of flowers and greenery, and even a small dinosaur area for kids 🦖. It’s a great place to relax, explore, and take nice photos. Highly recommend visiting!
