Go Ride A Wave Surfers Paradise

I chose here just because it was close to my accommodation but it turned out to be a great choice after all!! All the instructors were super friendly and encouraging participants to stay focused and interested. My 9 year old twin boys loved the class. Thank you!

Me and my mum just recently took 2 lessons here - one private and one group - and it has been such a great experience! This is our first time surfing, and everything was very comfortable and clear, even though my mum doesn't speak much English and I have to translate for her. Many thanks to the instructor Jack and the whole team ❤️

My son had his very first surf lesson here today, and I can't express enough how grateful we are for this wonderful experience. Kira was absolutely incredible with my son — she was kind, patient, and incredibly skilled. Thank you so much for making this such a memorable and joyful moment for him. He hasn't stopped talking about it and is already eager to return!

I want to thank Kal for an amazing first surfing lesson. I was the only one in a group of four whose completely first time it was and he made us all feel equally welcome and took care of us all individually. I was a bit nervous initially but he was very thorough in his explanations of different kinds of waves and water behaviours, and the numerous drills we did on shore first definitely came in helpful! Thank you very much ☆

It was torrential rain and wind when we had our lesson, but still had a great time! The 3 instructors were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They noticed how cold I was at the beginning due to the weather and one ran back from the beach to get me a wetsuit without me asking, which helped massively and I was incredibly grateful for. Having never been on a surfboard before, I learned loads and managed to stand up a couple of times by the end of the lesson thanks to the help of the instructors! We’d love to book again on a calmer day and we’d definitely use Go Ride A Wave again when we do.

Did a surf lesson today( sunday 18 jan) with the 10 am crew ( believe it was jameson? And the others in the team) they were amazing. Team had their eyes on us all the time, explained techniques and tips and oriented us in the water and gave each on of us personal advice on how to be better. Definitely an experience i would repeat with them. The waves are amazing!!! Highly recommended.

Cal took us out for two lessons and was a fantastic instructor. Hey kept things light and gave us a great foundation through starting with the basics and progressing as we got more comfortable. Had us on some green waves after our second lesson. Highly recommend!
