Coles Surfers Paradise

As someone staying at Chevron Renaissance for a week, it was extremely handy having it so close and I really appreciated the range of grab and go food options like sandwiches and sushi. Plus a good range of easy to make dinners for people on holiday. On the downside I did find their prices a bit expensive and I am from Canberra where it is expensive anyway but this was taking advantage of people on holiday.

Really convenient location and the store is well stocked for a quick shop. Staff were helpful when I asked for directions, and the checkout was smooth even during a busy time. Clean aisles, good range, and easy to find what I needed.

This Coles is one of the nicest stores. The fresh fruit and vegetables are fresh. The deli is the best ever. They have everything you could want. Well done to you all 😊

I always find Cole’s at Chevron Renaissance to be easy, pleasant shopping having most things I need from my local store. Staff are most helpful. There is a reasonably well stocked delicatessen with good fresh food. Good free 2 hour parking with the Liquor shop almost next door.

It’s a very good supermarket with plenty of variety, and it’s rare for anything to be out of stock. However, there is one issue that really bothers me: the older lady with short, light-coloured hair who works at the self-checkout area. I come to this store every day, sometimes more than once, both for my personal shopping and for Uber deliveries. I’ve been doing this for over a year. Whenever this staff member is on shift, she comes over to "teach" me how to use the self-checkout, even though I use it every day without any problems. She ends up disrupting my shopping, mixing items that I keep separated for different customers, and interferes unnecessarily, which slows me down and affects my work. I visit several Coles stores across the Gold Coast every day, and this is the only one where someone behaves like this. Very disappointed with this level of service. If I wanted someone to scan my groceries for me, I would go to a regular checkout.
