Lilys Restaurant, Bar & Cafe Prestons

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Lily’s Restaurant Bar & Café on Sunday, 7 February at 12:00pm, and I was genuinely blown away by the experience. The staff were incredible. I had the chance to speak with a couple of them, including one of the partner’s sons (I’m sorry I forgot his name). Let me just say, I was so impressed by how friendly, kind, and welcoming everyone was. I’ve been to many restaurants and travelled to many places around the world, and the level of respect, honour, and service provided at Lily’s was truly outstanding. The food was absolutely top-notch in quality, flavour, and freshness. The coffee was amazing — you can really taste the difference with their own roasted beans. It was smooth, rich, and beautifully balanced. The beef cheek served on mashed potato with gravy was exceptional. The beef was perfectly cooked and literally melted in your mouth. The pasta bolognese was just as impressive — creamy, rich, and full of flavour with high-quality ingredients throughout. Overall, an amazing dining experience. I highly recommend Lily’s Restaurant Bar & Café and will definitely be returning.

We went in regular clothes, nothing fancy. After we got seated, they didn’t even come take our order, or even our water order. We had to wave someone down. Next time, I’d get appetizers and pizza, and avoid the pasta. - Diavola Pizza 4.7/5 Holy- the dough tastes AMAZING. It has perfect wood fired flavor, and the crust is crunchy and delicious. The toppings were good too, but I think with other toppings it would have been better. - Beef Ragu Tagiatelle 1.9/5 Way below average pasta. The noodles were severely overcooked. They were soggy, and all stuck together. Way way overcooked. The ragu was okay, no burst of flavor. - Sticky Date Pudding 4.1/5 The rating would be higher if it wasn’t reheated by the microwave. The whole dessert is not so sweet, which I love. The caramel is not so sweet and adds moisture to the cake. The ice cream is just basic vanilla. Free parking inside lot.

We happened upon this place 6 months ago when we were looking for somewhere two hours into our road trip. It was early so we stopped for breakfast. We were immediately impressed by the restaurant set-up. Our waitperson was very attentive and service was quick. Fast forward to our fifth visit, this time for lunch on a Saturday. We arrived 15 minutes before opening but they allowed us in knowing we had limited time. Eddie and his team are awesome! Service is impeccable, and the food is truly extraordinary. I'm pleased we do regular trips 4 hours from home to visit family because it means we can look forward to many more visits.

Great food, friendly service, and a really nice atmosphere. The menu has plenty of choice and everything is well presented and full of flavour. The staff are welcoming and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely worth a visit.

Last week my partner and I celebrated our engagement at lilys restaurant for dinner. I'd like to say a big thank you to the team that worked that night as the service was exceptional and the food was 10/10. The staff were very accomodating on the night and made everything run smoothly which was a big help to myself and partner on the night. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to go, you will not be disappointed. I also want to thank Sofia who i communicated with over email for the past 3 months to make this day happen. She responded fast to my questions and assisted me with anything I needed on the night. Once again, thank you all! cannot wait to come back xxx

The service at Lily Restaurant was exceptionally impressive, creating an intimate and welcoming ambiance. The quality of the food was equally remarkable, offering a delectable culinary experience. This was my first visit, and I am certain it will not be my last. Well done to the entire team at Lily Restaurant for their outstanding efforts.

Wonderful all round! The staff were incredibly accommodating finding a table for us (we hadn't booked) on a busy Saturday night. Great and friendly service, the food....oh the food! Absolutely delicious. Best meal I've had in years and the dessert only enriched the meal further! I'd come back again in a heartbeat ❤️ If I could make any small suggestion, it would be nice to have some music playing gently in the background to fill in the gaps of voices. However, despite the busy-ness, it wasn't too loud and looked accommodating for families and groups. Highly recommended!
