Urban Veg Raised Wicking Beds

Deb & Russ in Wollongong cannot recommend Dom/ Urban Veggie Crew highly enough. Dom's Communication Skills, imparting of Information/Knowledge, Friendliness & Professionalism are second to none. Dom built & installed 3 Large, very functional, great looking raised Veggie beds at a height of 850mm over the course of one day. I personally have medical/physical disabilities & these beds have allowed me to garden without bending over. Very grateful for same.We have been happily growing our veggies for approx 1 month now & are really excited with the results so far. I generally don't give a perfect score on the principle that nothing is truly perfect, but our experience with Dom and Matt was truly above and beyond (even perfect!). From initial discussions to choosing the right bed for our herbs to accommodating special requests to installation and "aftercare" we could not have asked for more friendly, helpful or better service. Update 2 months on... Absolutely amazing! I have herbs 2-4 times the size of those in my garden pots planted at the same time. And everything is so healthy and happy. The wicking really works and Dom has crafted it perfectly. THANK YOU! So happy with my raised wicking garden bed!! It looks great and I love that it will self-fertilise and that watering is occasional. Dom is so professional and its obvious that he loves what he does. From the very first communication by email, to the quote that was easy to compare different options with complete cost transparency, to the site visit to finalise the plans and then the installation; everything just moved along super smoothly and efficiently. I had some particular requests in regards to vegan and organic soil mix and to make one side of the bed into a small seat, and it was all accommodated with ease and in fact I could tell Dom really enjoyed the challenge! It was also to be installed on a small slope so Dom had a few great solutions to choose from. As the garden bed is in my front yard, within the first few hours I had people asking me where they could get one as it just looks so good and really functional. I found UrbanVeg online as I was looking for a some planter bed ideas that I could use to build one for my young kids and wife to grow their own produce in. I was very impressed with the design of urban veg planters with inbuilt watering system/compost waste disposer/ and many other features and once I got the quote I found it more than feasible to engage them Dom the owner was a pleasure to deal with installed and filled the planter in a day and also gave a detailed run down and information on how to use and best things to grow in it upon completion. We picked our first group of veggies last week and the kids are absolutely loving it and couldn’t be happier with the finished product.

So pleased we decided to install a wicking bed. Dom went above and beyond - on what became a very wet rainy day. Came back to finish within a few days. Hard working, friendly and very informative, explaining clearly how it all works. Looking forward to our own home grown vegetables. Highly recommend.

Totally unimpressed with the lack of professionalism of the sales team. Basically I was ghosted by them when after several emails sorting out best option then I went back and asked gor a quote. No response. Follow up email also left unanswered. This lot are obviously not hungry for business.
