Gables on Finch

What a glorious beautiful and amazing venue to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday lunch, with a fabulous 2 course meal in the Peacock room. So sophisticated & professional, the room was made up with an 18 balloon on a wonderfully set table, with the fire place burning. Simon our host was attentive and made sure we were all enjoying our afternoon. Highly recommend for any function. We will be back, your high tea is next on our bucket list. Thank you x

We cannot thank Gables on Finch, and Simon, enough for such a wonderful wedding! We had a garden ceremony and a gorgeous reception in the ballroom. Simon and his staff made the day absolutely perfect — helpful, supportive and kind, our wedding day went without a hitch and looked so beautiful too.

Such a stunning place & a beautiful layout of the high tea, came here years ago with my family & found some old photos of this place that bought back memories, the service was really kind & the looks of the whole place was exquisite, the high tea was so good a whole desserts buffet! my personal favourite was the vanilla slice can’t wait to come back again! perhaps for my 17th birthday. 🍰🫖❤️

This had to be on of the best High Tea packages I have ever had! The Price was so reasonable and the amount/quality of food we got was amazing (our favorite were the scones)! High Tea at home during COVID is a fantastic way to keep busy whilst staying home. I would highly recommend the Gables...I know i will be back again. Thanks for a delicious experience.

Highly recommend! What an amazing experience overall. We had our wedding at the Gables on Finch with the ceremony in the garden and the reception inside the house. Everything about the wedding, including the lead up, was done with precision. We dealt with Simon who went above and beyond to give us the most special day. Aside from this our guests loved every minute. The food was delicious, the service exceptional and the whole ambiance was warm and inviting. Thank you Simon for catering to all our needs.

Had quite a large party of people here a few weeks ago and the venue was so stunning, the decor and setting was just perfect for our ball that our club hosted. The staff were welcoming and accomodating to our requests from the weeks leading up and the entire night.

A pretty average experience, nothing special apart from property. Service was poor and food average "soggy sandwiches", cold quiches, dense chewy scones. Limited range of Tea and coffees. All in all average experience there are better places to have similar experience which is far better overall experience and service in Melbourne.
