Bunnings Greenacre

I came to Bunnings to rent a carpet washing machine. Before borrowing it, I specifically asked the staff whether the machine had been checked and if I needed to inspect it myself. The staff confidently told me the machine was in good condition and that there was no need for me to check it. However, when I used the machine, the connector was clearly faulty and leaking water. Because of this problem, I called the store and asked if I could return the machine 15 minutes later than scheduled. The staff told me that it was fine. When I returned the machine and explained the issue, the staff insisted that the problem was my fault. When I questioned why they had assured me the machine was in good condition, they responded that they only check the electrical part of the machine and not the connector, which is unreasonable and shows the machine had not been properly inspected before rental. I relied on the staff’s assurance that the machine was in good working condition, so this issue should not be blamed on me.

I recently visited Bunnings Greenacre to prepare for an upcoming exterior house-painting project and had lots of questions about roller sizes, extension poles, paint brushes sizes and what would work best. I went in on a weekday during a non-peak time and was helped by Sam, who was incredibly patient, friendly, helpful and completely non-judgmental. Thanks Sam you made the whole experience comfortable and stress-free! This location parking was plentiful, convenient, undercover, however has a very generous height clearance, neat and tidy!

I went there to buy construction safety items like gloves, safety shoes, and safety glasses. Most items were available, but I would suggest keeping more good-quality safety gloves suitable for construction work. Overall, it was a decent experience.

Clean and friendly staff, and all products are well organised. I especially love that my dog is always warmly welcomed every time we visit any Bunnings. That’s the best part.. I can enjoy shopping while having my pet with me!

ANNIE at the register of exchange and refunds is so bloody rude and unfortunately disgusting to say the least , felt like I was an animal being treated . While the manager on the other hand was professional and helpful . Go to ADDRIENNE OR AHMED IF YOU NEED HELP. Because everyone else seems to be a mouth breather , didn’t wanna refund my 1000+ plus cameras that I bought . Even tho I had the receipt . So don’t waste ur money or time on Bunnings , thanks to AHMED for hearing my complaint out and apologising on the behalf of the team when he didn’t need to . And thanks to Adrienne the lady at the register, the manager very nice and pleasant to speak to .

Hired an Orbital sander and purchased sanding pads both from the hire shop. Sander 'threw' the pads approximately every 5 minutes, making it unusable. Spoke to two staff and escalated to store management. After a week, the effort to obtain refund exceeded money that would be returned, so gave up. Rest of shop is good and staff are generally helpful. Had issues at other Bunnings hire shops also, so issues seem to be limited to that service. Use Kennards.
