Anaconda Epping

Terrible service at Anaconda Epping. Went in to refill my gas bottle and the staff member rudely refused, saying "nooope" with no explanation. Only after I asked did he claim it was because it was raining, even though it had been dry and sunny for hours. Went straight to BBQs Galore and they refilled it without hesitation. Won’t be shopping at Anaconda again.

I had a great experience today with Dave and Michael who both helped me pick out a surf rod and supplies for an upcoming trip. Dave was very knowledgeable showing me all the options, advice on which lures to use and suggesting which line will work best. Dave’s knowledge of fishing was impressive. Michael gave me advice on his favourite knot to use which I’m sure to use on my trip. Can’t wait to pop in to show the fellas what I catch! Thanks again!

They have specials on offer before the end of the financial year. I have just joined them and got $10 to kick start my shopping. I gas fill my BBQ bottles here too. I bought a chair and a lamp for outdoor camping 🏕️🥾 trips However the counter service should have been more efficient so that customers did not have to wait for long to be served.

Yesterday at 4 pm I ask for a info about fishfinder . The boy on the check out cut me off rudly. Not many words and stop like lost connection with his brain. Then I have all clear...... he speaking in his phone and have no time for me.... Impressive customer care.I am Impressed. Fortunately Anaconda in Preston give me a perfect support and I buyed the sounder. Impressed..... Big Claps for Preston staff!!!!!!

I walked in yesterday to buy some fishing gear for an upcoming trip and the guy working there was extremely rude and arrogant. I found it very difficult to have a conversation with him about things I didn't know. He seemed to enjoy belittling me on things I asked him to explain to me because I didn't understand what their purpose was. I'm sorry if I'm not a "professional fisherman" like you but you are in a position to help me understand what you're recommending me to buy. The other guy who I usually see, working there, Michael, is so much better to deal with. It's pretty silly to have a great employee on some days and an absolute tool on the others.

I have visited Anconda Epping store today, purched tent and air matress. Experienced terrible customer service at check out. Staff was rushing. Before paying, I tell him that I got $10 coupon. He said " You should have let me know earlier, Can't help you because its busy". It was not busy, actually there were 3 check out counters & only 2-3 customer in the queue. It felt like he has no intention to help the customer. This was disappointing.

Horrible customer service. The adult guy I asked help for (as his job is to help customers) was just absolutely rude, kept rolling his eyes every time I asked a qs about a fishing rod. He spoke in a very belittling tone because I wasn’t sure which one I was after (other than a specific brand). He kept making smart remarks and speaking in a condescending matter. To top his behaviour off, the young girls at the counter were laughing because I was carrying a massive rod (over dibble my height) which touched the top of the ceiling and when I got to the counter they laughed in between each other because they had some silly bet that I was going to hit somewhere with the rod (because of how big it was). Their behaviour was so disgusting that I would’ve walked out there without making a purchase but it was a last min Christmas gift. Will definitely never shop from the epping store again.
