We had a great breakfast experience at Collective Espresso in Camberwell. The service was friendly and efficient, and the space had a relaxed, welcoming vibe—perfect for a slow morning. The real highlights were the meals: the French toast came loaded with fresh fruit, a hint of lemon, and a delicious blueberry jam. Beautifully balanced and not overly sweet. The Pork Benny was a standout—topped with slow-cooked pork and handmade potatoes fritters. Incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavour. Portion sizes were generous and presentation was great too. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a brunch spot that nails both food and atmosphere.
A creative and flexible menu. Individual items were really well done and brought together well - kudos to the chef. Great black and milk coffees - tastes mid-roasted with robust body. A bit cramped inside but still a nice atmosphere. Plenty of attentive well-trained and seemingly happy staff (Sunday brunch).
Delicious food and great location. The staff were friendly and fast. The coffee was very yummy.
🥇 Brioche French toast $22 - this has the most beautiful lemon curd and loved the addition of the sugar coated walnuts to give that crunch factor too! 🥇 Belgium Waffles & Fried Chicken $24 - delicious dish! It does get a bit too sweet towards the end so I recommend maybe asking for the maple syrup to come on the side! The chicken schnitzel was cooked really well and had a great flavour. 🥇 Avocado stack $21 - an unbeatable classic done well! ☕️ Prana chai almond milk $7.50 - you always know it's good when it's using @pranachai ☕️ Mochaccino $5.5 - great coffee to pick you up! Such a cute little cafe just opposite to Camberwell station which is super convenient for a morning coffee run on the way to work or a pick me up on the way home. The staff were super friendly, they have a nice small outdoor area, perfect on a sunny day and extra special with your favourite furry friend 🐶
A delightful all rounder cafe experience. From when we walked in the staff were just lovely. There is indoor and outdoor seating with a great well lit indoor space. Portions were generously sized and all at great prices - around $23 for a dish. As a bonus, no 15% Sunday surcharge.
Make sure to check out this charming café, famous for its beautifully plated French toast. Offering a wide selection of brunch dishes and drinks, it boasts a warm atmosphere and friendly staff—making it the perfect spot for a date or a catch-up! This is definitely a locals fave! The coffee is top-tier, the food is fresh and delicious, and the staff are very welcoming. Cozy vibes with a great local feel, the perfect brunch spot. Plus they have Matcha!!!! 🍵
