Busy Bees at Altona Meadows

My son has been at Busy Bees Altona Meadows for two wonderful years and now that he’s graduating, it’s hard to say goodbye. He absolutely loves it there and even wants to go on weekends! A huge thank you to Maggie, his amazing teacher, for being so kind, calm, and patient. She genuinely loves kids and made such a big difference in his learning. She even taught him some Chinese, which he really enjoyed. And a special thank you to Shika, the fantastic manager, always smiling, welcoming, and ready to help. She creates such a positive and happy atmosphere every day. The food at Busy Bees is also amazing. healthy, fresh, and made with so much care. My son always looked forward to mealtime! We’re so grateful to everyone at Busy Bees for all the love, care, and support you’ve given our son. We’ll miss you all so much! ❤️

We recently moved our 1.5-year-old to Busy Bees at Altona Meadows, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The center is well-organised, clean, and welcoming. It gave us a great feeling right from the start. Our little one settled in quickly and already looks forward to going every day. The educators are wonderful, genuinely caring, attentive, and supportive. It's clear they build strong connections with the children and create a nurturing environment. A special mention to the center manager, Shikha, who is always approachable and responsive. She listens thoughtfully and takes positive action on any feedback shared. We're really grateful to have found Busy Bees at Altona Meadows and recommend it to any family looking for a safe and engaging early learning space for their child.

My two kids have had a great start at busy bees this year. My son, who is 3, is with Miss Nitty and Maggie in the kinder rooms, he has settled in really well. My baby girl, who is 10 months, is being really well looked after by Tania. This is a really lovely place for the local families. I'm really happy with our experience.

From the moment we walked through the doors of Busy Bees Altona Meadows, we knew it was a special place. As a parent, there’s nothing more important than knowing your children are safe, happy, and nurtured—and that’s exactly what we’ve found here. The educators are warm, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth and wellbeing. They’ve taken the time to really get to know our twins, celebrating their little personalities and helping them thrive. The love and care they show every day give us so much reassurance, and we are beyond grateful. The communication is fantastic—we always feel informed and involved in their learning journey. Seeing photos and updates throughout the day brings so much joy, and it’s clear how much effort goes into making every day engaging and meaningful. Beyond the amazing staff, the environment itself is wonderful. The play spaces are inviting, the activities are creative and enriching, and the sense of community is truly special. Leaving your children in someone else’s care is never easy, but Busy Bees Altona Meadows has made it a seamless and positive experience. We are so lucky to be part of this beautiful community, and we can’t recommend them highly enough!

The lovely staff was great applying sunscreen to my child's eyes and then just said she will be ok. Great work, not!!!!!!! To add more the very next day only gave a 1yr old one bottle no water for 9 hrs. Also letting a 3 yr old wear soiled undies to the point of chafing. And receptionist refuse to answer any questions

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees for over 2 years now and I’ve never had a negative experience with the service or educators. Very happy with the fun and educational environment that they create and the educators have been nothing but supportive the entire time at Busy Bees. Rooms are always clean and staff are always warm and friendly. Service manager Angela is super lovely and is always very involved and engaged with children and parents.

This use to be a fantastic centre. At the start of last year they lost and replaced 3 management rolls within 3 months. After that the centre starting going down hill very quickly. They now often only have 1 educator in a room of 10 or more kids, they don't supervise children well, they don't give enough fluids during a very hot day. They are known to get sunscreen in children eyes and do nothing about and not do whats medically recommended. They don't attend or give children who are screaming in pain any attention or help. Refuse to help with toilet training unless sternly spoken to. Leaves child in soild and wet undies for a long time. I would not recommend this centre anymore 😕
