Jack was great to deal with. Direct, knowledgeable and friendly. He has lots of hands on experience himself and was able to explain every aspect of the process. Jack gave me a few options of how we can approach our engineered flooring installation (apartment building) and explained in details the correct way to do it. He was flexible in accomodating my requests and always available to answer my queries. I’m really happy with the final result and glad that I listened to Jack and decided to do the install properly without cutting any corners. They finished the job within the time frame promised. Jack provided me with detailed updates and photos throughout the installation process. Highly recommend!

We would definitely recommend Ideas Flooring. Jack was a great communicator and came in to do a site inspection to ensure that what we wanted was doable to an excellent standard. He was great at explaining all the different flooring options and finishes. You can tell that Jack has a lot of experience in flooring because of his knowledge. On the day of installation Jack and his team were punctual, efficient and ensured that the work was the best quality. We had an excellent experience with Ideas Flooring, largely thanks to Jack. From the outset, Jack was extremely knowledgeable and hands-on, coming out for multiple on-site inspections and always being very contactable throughout the process. The finished floorboards are exactly as Jack represented and sold to us. No surprises, just a high-quality result that looks fantastic. We initially had concerns around creaking floorboards, and Jack took the time to explain the issue and recommend an alternative installation methodology to address it properly. The outcome has been outstanding. We now have brand new floorboards that not only look great but also feel solid and premium underfoot. Most importantly, they’ve been installed in a way that gives us complete confidence they won’t creak again.

5 star service. Very happy with our floors and the advice Jack gave us when choosing the best option for our house. We received conflicting advice from other retailers around the type of floor to suit our house, Jack was very knowledgeable and was able to provide honest and practical advice based on the structure/conditions of our property. Jack and his team drove all the way to Austinmer to lay our floor and the job was completed in a day, fast and high quality. I would give Jack and his team more than 5 stars if I could! Jack is extremely reliable, which you know is such a rare quality if ever had to do home renovations! He was also great with communication, which helped moving things forward faster. We had a time limit and needed to get the flooring done before moving in. This wasn't possible without Jack going above and beyond to find the right timber stock and book the installation. The craftsmanship and attention to details were great as well. Grateful we found Ideas Flooring and Jack Wong. Our job (replacing carpets with hybrid floors) needed to be coordinated remotely, and Jack gave us the necessary info for strata approval and responded to all my emails, text messages and phone calls promptly. His crew arrived on time, were respectful to the residents in our apartment complex, took the quality of work seriously and finished on-time and to the quoted costs. He’s also an all round good guy who is so easy to work with. I am thrilled with my new floors, they look fabulous and should last a long time!
