Gen 2 Building

This building catches snow and ice on upper levels. When the wind or rising temperatures causes that snow and ice to fall, it plummets several stories hitting the sidewalk, cars, and people below. There is no roof to protect people on the sidewalk. As we ran back to our car to avoid this issue, my daughter was hit by ice on her elbow. Her wound will resolve shortly, but the design or construction is faulty. People are going to end up with cuts, bruises, broken car windows, dented car panels and maybe worse.

If i can rate a 0 star, i would. Very horrible communication with a guy named Joe Pelicano. He doesn’t respond to you timely, he doesnt plan ahead. And it takes heaps of follow up and your lucky if he actions the job. Heard that he was a project manager but he’s very poor in planning. He doesnt respect your time. He’s just going to send someone to a job on a time that is just convenient to him. He doesnt respect you and your time. Very poor form! STAY AWAY from this building company. Horrible in communication. Even management doesnt respond to emails. Will not finish/complete jobs. 👎 no ownership. No follow through.

I paid 750k cash for a brand new apt built by Gen2 and it feels like I live in squalor. There is concrete slurry everywhere: elevator door sill, entire length of stairwell handrails, 8m ladder left on 7th floor. Basement 1 and 2 are only 80% sealed. Sloppy work everywhere. The 6th floor elevator button frame coming off the wall. There is concrete dust in both stairwells from bottom basement 2 and all the way up to the 7th floor. The drain grates pop out of place and expose the drains when cars drive slowly over them when parking. There were no relief cuts in the solid slab in back driveway so there is cracking and brittle concrete throughout. The owner Simon hired a non locksmith to fix the front security doors that hardly ever locked during the first 8 months. They took a video of a supposed fix and I sent a video back of the failure. I moved into my new unit in 42 degree weather and my ac didn’t work. I had to hire an AC guy to fix it 3 weeks later, 2 days before more 42 degree weather. I pushed the bill to him and he wouldn’t pay it. I filled out an application for NCAT and 2 hours later, he paid me back. Every chance you get with Simon, he should be taken to court because he will never admit fault. He doesn’t care about anything accept courts, law, and legislation.
