We had an amazing experience with Melbourne’s Best Veranda from start to finish. I actually used AI to help me shortlist the best builders based on build quality, communication, reliability, and consistently strong customer reviews — and I’m very happy that this process led me to Phill, Chrystal, and their team@MBV. Phill and Chrystal communicated exceptionally well and kept us informed at every stage of the project, which gave us great confidence throughout the process. The crew — Dan, Michael and Ivan — were fantastic. They were friendly, professional, and treated our property with real respect, which we truly appreciated. Although the recommended electrician (Gilliard) didn’t end up sending through a quote, we were very happy to engage Dylan Ebert from @Blackout Electrical, who offered a fair price and impressively completed two days’ worth of work in just one day. Overall, the entire experience was smooth, solution‑oriented, and excellent value for money. A genuine pleasure to deal with, and we’re thrilled with the final result. Highly recommend!

From the very start, Phil listened to our needs and patiently customised a pergola covering the L shape area between our main house and the garage. Phil explained clearly the deliverables with simulated pictures so that we could visualise what we were getting and the cost of the project so that there was no surprises. . Michael, Dan and Ivan that executed the build part, were very professional, friendly, and approachable . In addition to their quality workmanship, they also kept us informed daily of what they were doing and they always left a very tidy and safe work site at the end of the day. In my opinion, from my experience dealing with many tradies, they were definitely the ‘A’ Team. Overall, I am very impressed with Phil and his team. They delivered everything that was promised. An exceptional experience with Phil and the team. MBV built two verandah's on our existing house in mid-2025 and we received exceptionally professional service from the initial quote through waiting on permit approvals to the build itself. Every team member we engaged with (admin and onsite) were courteous, friendly, and professional. Chrystal deserves a special mention for her peerless communication, while Ivan, Michael, Dan and the rest of the build team are fondly remembered for their onsite banter, their polite approval at our kids' trampoline jumps and for rejecting inferior materials provided by a supplier (which, with us not having the faintest idea about construction, they could have easily copped out and installed). Just a frictionless interaction all the way through, Phil and team have set a high bar for tradies and builders to follow.

Getting our council permit was challenging, but MBV persisted with timely follow-ups that helped push it through. Once approved, installation was quick, professional, and completely stress-free. Phil was incredibly accommodating with our many requests, even coordinating with our landscaping team to ensure the veranda fit seamlessly into the overall site plan and met our timelines. The workmanship is superb and faultless – the Versiclad insulated roof system looks incredible and really sets the finish apart. It’s clear they take great pride in their craft, and it shows in every detail. A big thank you to Phil, Chrystal, Michael, Daniel, and Ivan – a pleasure to deal with. We’ve already recommended MBV to friends and will continue to do so!

We could not be happier with any aspect of our new deck and veranda. Phil and his team were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. From the moment Phil walked in on his first visit, we knew we were dealing with an absolute professional who was miles apart from the competitors we had in to quote for the same structures previously.
