Expert Decking and Tiling

From my own experience, the same issues noted in all the reviews continue to be evident by this company and its owner. Dishonest dealings, falsehoods, incomplete work and work not done to standard was found not acceptable by government building regulator. Opportunity to rectify was provided to the owner / company, however it was blatantly disregarded. Again from my own experience and personal dealings with the owner, I suggest that all dialogue and work is documented and fulfilled to agreed standards before releasing any stage payments. Unfortunatley also having to go through legal recovery so personal opinion would be not to recommend the owner or company based on my dealings which align with all the other reviews. Would give negative or zero stars if that was an option.

Completely dishonest company. Deck installed wrongly with wrong screws, wrong clips, wrong installation, wrong expansaion gap, stirups not used as per quoted but used wood post intead. The whole decking ended up buckled with clips slipped out, screws sheered and decking completely ruined. After inspected Az say they will come back to fix it and falsely claim that is the manufacturing defect of the product but never turned up and never picked up calls anymore. We have then gone to building commision and they have ordered the company to fix the decking. Az even fabricated false statement that I supplied the decking boards, screws and clips myself in his defence that it is not his fault for the defects. However the company did not comply with order either. It has been 10 months and still unresolved. If you wish to have a completely disasterous experience, they are the perfect choice!

Had composite decking installed in June 2021 ( $14k worth) & was very happy with the finished product but as the hot weather arrived in Nov the decking & facia boards started buckling & screws popping. Az came around 2 weeks later & inspected & said that he would return to replace buckled & discoloured slats as required. Its now 5 months & Az still saying he will attend once replacement slats are available. Stay tuned for more updates.. Well here we are now in March 2023, the matter is now in the hands of Building & Energy to resolve, many, many issues with this decking, from expansion, buckling, incorrect fixings, planks fading & broken promises of repairs. Its been 15 months of constant chasing, message me if you need any further info.

"Beware of dishonest business owner! Unfortunately, I had a poor experience with the owner of this company. Despite supplying him artificial turf that he installed for one of his Clint in Wanneroo without any experience and ripping off someone’s hard earning money . the owner refused to pay the full amount of supplied turf. Well well what can I say!! After we employed a builder to issue Expert decking and tiling with a contract he takes the deposit and then after he can’t pay for the decking we assisted and paid and deducted from the contract when it came close to the end Az then advises that the contract is not enforceable because he hadn’t signed it!! Well Az guess what you accepted the deposit. Furthermore at the end he doesn’t have enough to pay for his subcontractors and advised we had to pay for them! We assisted with paying the boys the balance of the contract so they got something now they are out of pocket and he is not coming to site to sort out with them. Az also doesn’t believe in the reviews and takes them with a pinch of salt so please do yourself a favour and stay well away from this contractor!!

June 2024..It's been 31 months but finally got there. This company has been ordered to pay compensation for the poor quality of decking. If anyone out there with same issues submit your claim to DMIRS, I am happy to help you prepare. Well here we are 20 months later and have had no choice but head down the Building & Energy disputes road to get my issues sorted out. Just so disappointing to say the least. My suggestions to anybody wanting to use any subcontractors, pay the extra money if required, don't go for cheapest, get scope of work detailed, look at reviews and comments from previous clients, go and see previous installations, explore warranty conditions and if you are already caught put your complaint into the Building & Energy. The more people instigate proceedings against poor workmanship the better. Cowboys need to get out of this industry.

Our experience when dealing with Az was by far one of the worst experiences we have ever had with trades , the lies, unresponsiveness and dishonesty like we've never experienced We signed up with a 50% deposit which should have been a big a red flag, receiving daily calls from a mystery lady in his office to make the deposit, when I requested a further 10% discount it was quickly agreed so the deposit could be received. We were promised the job would start in a few weeks Then the lies and dishonesty started....we were given every excuse under the sun from the old standard Covid to the material for the boards was stuck in China, to manufacturer of the boards was waiting on new parts ..... just to name a few Fast forward 8 months and we had some new gates, a pergola and still no decking so the conversation quickly turned to litigation and demands from us for refunding the deposit and suddenly everything was ready to go. The deck was magically installed and then the unrelenting requests for money started which I understand people need to get paid but only when the job is complete and handed over it was very awkward knowing the trades people who worked on the job for Az hadn't been paid they were owed money and my balance outstanding was their money. My experience with this company is exactly the same as every other unhappy person in this review section. I'm now unsure about the quality of the material used for these boards and how they will stand up to the hot Perth sun because we've already noticed a big stretch in boards , only time will tell UPDATE - November 2024 The quality of these boards is dangerous. After two summers they are warped and unsafe. We are replacing a large section of the deck at our expense because we don’t want Az anywhere near the property
