I approached Sam @ QDH for a review of a property. I was aware of the company’s extensive experience in designing renovations and builds, and I couldn’t decide whether to proceed on an offer for this property, so I needed help. I had absolutely no idea that QDH produced a DesignFit Property Potential Report. QDH asked us for a brief, outlining what we wanted in a property, and then compared this to the property we were reviewing, even offering a view on whether it was a good fit for us. The level of detail around the Design Opportunity Options, highlighted in detail what we could do with the property without overcapitalising and breaking the bank, taking into consideration an analysis of the site and existing dwelling. The report has covered everything imaginable. I would thoroughly recommend engaging QDH for this review. It has given us the level of comfort we needed to confidently proceed in making an offer! Sam at QDH assisted me with a concept design plan for a "lift and build under" of our Queenslander home. I found him to be bright, courteous and a thorough communicator who never left a stone unturned , to achieve the best possible outcome for us. Having my finer questions answered in a detailed manner and having easy access to our designer to optimise the design were both hugely important to me, and he more than delivered on these aspects. In areas where a choice needed to be made, he would methodically spell out the possible outcomes and left me with the space to make the best decision for my family, which I greatly appreciated. We worked with Sam on our Queenslander renovation, and we couldn’t be happier with the result! Sam is a specialist when it comes to these types of renovations.
