If Martin says, "I’ll call you back in 5 minutes," just know that 5 minutes exists in a completely different time zone. I was promised a call back shortly. Very shortly. Blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shortly. That was hours ago. Possibly days. I’ve checked my phone, my voicemail, my signal, and even my patience. All working fine. At this point, I’m not sure if Fix About Handyman fixes things, or just breaks your trust in basic time estimates. A simple "sorry, can’t make it" would’ve been fine. Silence, however, seems to be the preferred tool of the trade. If you enjoy waiting by your phone like it’s a romantic drama, give them a go. If not, you might want a handyman who knows how to call back.

I can’t speak highly enough of Martin Nel of FIX ABOUT HANDYMAN SERVICES . Martin is truly a professional and a gentleman with his services, especially in the field of Carpentry, Painting and Metal guttering. Martin is a approachable friendly fella who loves the work he does, and his prices are reasonable for the quality of work he produced. Attached are a couple of photos of repair work, of the back deck area where the wood had rotted on the verandah section and Martin replaced with new gutter and fascia and down pipe . Also replaced the Garage fascia which virtually fell off. Pity I didn’t take some before photos.

Cannot thank Martin enough for his friendly, honest and reliable service to help my mother while I am interstate. He was very reasonable and upfront with his pricing and provided a seamless service.
