BIG W Epping

4.5 stars. Was impressed by range and prices and self-checkout staff member, despite being flat stick busy with checkouts that needed checking/authorisation. That was the only negative.

Worst customer service experience. I purchased an item from this store and later noticed a crack, so I returned to the store to request an exchange. When I explained the issue, the employee at the Service Desk (Julia) responded in an unnecessarily dismissive manner. She made comments such as stating the item was not broken and suggesting it appeared to have been used, without any reasonable basis. I am not sure whether she was tired, upset, or influenced by other factors; however, personal opinions, assumptions, or prejudicial commentary are not appropriate in a customer service setting. Customers should be treated with courtesy and professionalism, particularly when raising legitimate concerns. Big W needs to ensure that frontline staff are adequately trained to handle customer interactions respectfully and without bias. This experience fell well below reasonable expectations.

Store manager Joel went above and beyond for me today! What an absolutely amazing person! Epping Big W is so very lucky to have such an awesome, caring person as the manager. He definitely goes above and beyond for his customers and honestly deserves so much for his amazing efforts!

We were all greeted by Judy at the checkout .Judy gave great friendly customer service, she was in the Christmas spirit dressed up as "team Santa" .she was friendly and talked to our kids .thanks Judy for making our shopping experience at big W a pleasurable one for Christmas. Thanks Big W for employing a wonderful lady. Top job

It is very big as most of the other Big W super stores. They had a small dress stall right outside the shop around April 2023, which felt a bit different from usual. They have huge collection of dresses and toys. I am not sure whether they have a service to assemble bikes if we purchase them there, as it was not very clearly mentioned there. They have wide variety of bike cycle gears for big kids and grown ups, but very less collection of bikes for those age group.

DON'T USE BIG W online. They advertise stuff they don't even have. They use it as a way of getting your details and scamming you. Others have complained about the same thing. Another example of devious conduct by Woolworths. Sure, they refund the money, but it's frustrating and just plain dishonest.

Good priced and quality items overall. Kids clothes are cute. I saw some cute new season tutu and tulle dresses that I would of brought at only $25 each, beautiful designs, for a friend's wedding end of this month (April)... rather than spending $49.95 plus postage which I did spend per dress from an online store the other week.
